Register NowThe Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) under the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India, is responsible for conducting centralized counselling for:
- 15% All India Quota (AIQ) in Govt. Medical/Dental Colleges
- Institutional Quota & Domicile Quota of Central Universities
- ESIC - Ward of Insured Persons Quota (IP)
- AFMC Pune - Registration-based shortlist
- 100% seats in AIIMS, JIPMER, Deemed Universities, BSc Nursing (through NEET)
Central Universities Covered
Counselling also includes special quotas and internal seats from:
- Aligarh Muslim University (AMU)
- Banaras Hindu University (BHU)
- University of Delhi (DU)
- Faculty of Dentistry, Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI), Delhi
For these, internal quota candidates must register via MCC portal
ESIC & AFMC Candidates
ESIC (Employees' State Insurance Corporation):- Wards of insured persons can apply under the 20% IP Quota
- Registration is via MCC portal, document verification required
- Registration on MCC portal is mandatory
- Selection through AFMC's own process (ToELR, PAT, Interview, Medical Test)
Counselling Fees
During registration, students must pay:- Non-refundable counselling registration fees
- Refundable tuition fees (adjusted later or refunded)
All payments are to be made online only at time of MCC registration.
PH Category - Reservation Update
Big update for specially-abled candidates!- Reservation under PwD/PH category has been increased from 3% to 5%

NEET AIQ UG Counselling 2025 – Important Notice for NRI Candidates (MBBS/BDS Seats)
In reference to the earlier notice dated 02.09.2025, the list of candidates found eligible for filling NRI category choices after thorough scrutiny of submitted documents is now published.
- Priority 1 (ANNEXURE I):
- NRI Candidates
- Children of NRIs
- Priority 2 (ANNEXURE II):
- First-degree relatives of NRI wards
- Second-degree relatives of NRI wards
- Priority 1 candidates will be allotted seats first.
- Followed by Priority 2 candidates, subject to availability of seats.
- The list is provisional.
- Candidates must ensure submission of all original documents (Proof of NRI status, Relationship Certificates, etc.) during reporting at the allotted medical college.
- Deficiency in documents may result in cancellation of seat allotment.
This notice is issued with the approval of the competent authority.

This is for the information of all candidates that the Provisional Result for Round II of NEET UG Counselling 2025 is now available.
Candidates are advised to check the provisional result carefully. In case of any
discrepancy in the result, it must be immediately communicated to the MCC of DGHS by 10:00 AM on

After the deadline, the provisional result will be treated as 'Final'.

NEET 2025 Counselling Update: Round-II Result on Hold, Revised List Awaited
Urgent Attention Candidates:
The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) of DGHS has received information from one of the Government Medical Colleges that they inadvertently submitted twice the number of seats for Round-II of UG Counselling 2025 than were actually available. These excess seats were allotted in Round-II.
As directed by the competent authority, the Round-II Final Result (dated 18.09.2025) has been withdrawn for revision. Consequently, reporting has been put on hold until the revised result is published.
Candidates are advised to wait for the Revised Final Result of Round-II before proceeding for reporting.

Urgent Attention to Candidates
In supersession to the earlier notice dated 18.09.2025 at 04:30 PM (Ref. U-11011/07/2025-MEC), it is hereby clarified that the result remains unchanged as declared on 18.09.2025 at 11:40 AM.
Candidates are therefore advised to download the allotment letter and proceed for reporting as per the original schedule, without any change.

Important Update for Candidates & State Counselling Authorities
As per the directions of the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India (Contempt Petition © No. 289/2022 in W.P No. 223/2022 – Shubhankar Patnaik vs K. Ramesh Reddy & Ors.), it is mandatory to filter out candidates who have already joined seats under All India Quota (AIQ) during NEET UG Counselling.
- ✅ Round-3 AIQ result has already been declared by MCC
- ❌ No resignation/withdrawal is permitted in Round-3
What State Counselling Authorities Must Do
- Remove all candidates who have joined seats through AIQ Round-3
- Ensure such candidates are not allotted any new seats in State Round-3 counselling
- Download the list of joined candidates from the MCC Data Sharing Portal
- List available after 1st November 2025

- There is a court order restricting your movement
- You are involved in serious criminal charges, and the authorities (police/court) deny you permission to travel or appear for public exams
- NTA does not ask for criminal background details in the NEET application.
- Until conviction by a court, an FIR alone doesn't disqualify you from appearing in NEET or any national-level entrance exam.
- You may need to seek court permission if you are under any restrictions (like bail conditions).
- If you were debarred from exams (for 1 year, 2 years, etc.) by your board due to malpractice (like copying, impersonation, etc.), and your punishment period is still active during NEET, you may be disqualified.
- If the malpractice was only suspected but not proven, or you completed the penalty period, you're eligible.
- During NEET itself, if caught using unfair means, NTA will debar you from NEET for 1 to 3 years, depending on the severity.
